The owner of two successful, independent retail stores, Kristina has over 25 years of first-hand knowledge and insight into what makes or breaks community-minded businesses at all stages of growth and maturity.

She has sat on numerous boards including but not limited to RetailBC, Commercial Drive BIA, Deep Cove Merchants Association and LOCO. A level three facilitator and moderator, Kristina is requested as a Speaker on various topics related to retail, business, commerce and culture.

Above all, she is an advocate and advisor for local businesses, communities and the residents they serve. She can be found amplifying the message that strong, vibrant, and resilient communities are what matter most.

InkFish Collective is Kristina’s conduit for supporting, collaborating and partnering to create an even bigger positive impact.

Our clients and partners include local businesses, governments, individuals and community organizations.

From nuts and bolts business processes to engagement, policy and advocacy work, HOW we serve our clients is as diverse and flexible as they are!

about me

I am a connector. Meeting and introducing new people is my jam. I am a galvanizer, making change happen through collaboration and placemaking. I am an all-around-the-box thinker who finds solutions in real-life conversation and exploration. I am a letter writer, note taker, and a party maker—often considered the ‘social glue’ that binds teams and inspires positive action. 

My place is in the community.

I care about people, place, and productivity. I care about systems, situations, and solutions. I care about fairness, equity, and celebration. I care that you care, that we care. Mostly I care about local—local economies, communities, business, food, arts, culture, architecture, festivals, music and harmony.

  • Reaching out to those in the know. Those who influence and care to amplify the local economic message. I am on a soap box of sorts working to eliminate the silos that we think we live in.
